Released simply as Alice (and later titled Per Elisa) in 1981 by EMI Music, this fourth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Alice marks the major artistic turning point of her career. Co-written and arranged alongside Franco Battiato and Giusto Pio, the record blends sophisticated European pop-rock with new wave sensibilities, anchored by her smash Sanremo Music Festival-winning track 'Per Elisa'.
